Women's Ministry
The Women's Ministry at LMC was founded on two mission statements. First, we believe we are to build our life on solid ground (Matthew 7:24-27) with Christ as the cornerstone (Ephesians 2:19-22). Secondly, we believe we are a community that needs to meet together, encourage each other, love each other (Hebrews 10:24-15) and pray for each other (James 5:13-16).
We hold special events about once a month that are varied to encourage attendance for all interests and age groups within our community. Bible studies are held one or two times per year and usually last about six weeks.

UFO Day (3.8.2025)

Cozy Lil' Party (12.30.2024)
Seventeen ladies, dressed in their pajamas or comfy clothes, enjoyed an evening of fellowship at Melissa's home. Books were exchanged, 2024 blessings reviewed and 2025 goals discussed. |
Ladies Ornament Exchange (12.6.2024)
Trisha created a festive atmosphere for the ladies at her annual ornament exchange party. Everyone who participated took an ornament home. |
Brown City Camp (8.5.2024)
The ladies had a wet day that but didn't stop them from coming out to enjoy the speaker and luncheon at the church cabin after the meeting. |
VBS 2024 (7.11.2024)
The ladies of LMC organized, taught classes, led worship & fed our children during the annual VBS week. Many thanks for all who helped! |
Shipshewana (June 11-12, 2024)
Several ladies made the trek south to Shipshewana again this year. They enjoyed shopping, touring the area and fellowship! |
When You Pray Bible Study (4-5/2024)
The study, which concluded on May 28, followed seven prayers in the Bible and was very impactful. Thank you to Angela & Diane for your leadership and insight. |
Sowing Seeds for Jesus (5.16.2024)
It was a beautiful sunny day to visit greenhouses, watch a rug weaving demonstration and lunch at Common Grounds in Cass City. |
UFO Day 2024 (3.2.2024)
Eighteen ladies worked on unfinished projects throughout the day. Three meals were served and Trisha Mabe gave a presentation during lunch. |
Painting Day (1.27.2024)
Several ladies gathered for a day of fellowship and creativity. Old church windows, canvases and wood slices for available for painting. |
Advent Bible Study (11/2023-12/2023)
The group gathered at a different home each week for a devotional based on the Advent season and then decorated Christmas ornaments. |

BC Camp Women's Retreat (8.3.2023)
The Brown City Camp Women's Rally was held on August 2. Many were able to attend and enjoyed a potluck luncheon afterwards. |
VBS 2023 (7.1.2023)
VBS was a success this year because of the many hands that pitched in! The Women's Ministry had several members help out. |
Shipshewana Trip (6.15.2023)
These ladies enjoyed two fun-filled days at Shipshewana. Activities included shopping, dinner in an Amish home, a buggy ride and a wonderful evening of fellowship. |
Ladies & Girls Brunch (5.20.2023)
About 50 gathered for a special brunch in May. After a delicious meal, prepared by Cindy and Melissa, the group enjoyed the Hossler family sharing in word and song. |
"Finding I AM" Bible Study (Spring 2023)
Over 20 ladies participated in the Lysa TerKeurst Bible Study "Finding I AM". The study centered around Jesus' I AM statements in the Book of John. |
UFO Day (2.19.2023)

Cookie Exchange (12.16.2022)
The Women's Ministry Cookie Exchange was held December 10. There were lots of goodies to share! Extra plates were also prepared for delivery to friends to share the love of Jesus. |
